Asia CAD Systems Analyst
Location:
Taichung, Taiwan
Responsibilities:
Purpose: Improve CAD tool efficiency, usage, and knowledge via training, process development, and support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead CAD tool and process development to increase efficiency and improve the quality of SRAM products in accordance with Lean Product Development principles.
- Support CAD-integrated processes and tools in factories, including:
- Part qualification for Production
- Development of drawing for manufacturing operations
- Tool design
- NC Programming
- Develop and maintain a CAD user training program for both new and experienced manufacturing-focused roles.
- Partner with CAD data creators and consumers to identify, develop, document, and implement best practices globally.
- Support global PLM initiatives as they relate to CAD tools and usage.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate within the Global PLM Team as the liaison between the internal customer base and other team members to support information flow.
Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Engineering.
- 2 - 5 years experience with Pro/ENGINEER creating parts, assemblies and drawings.
- Working knowledge of advanced Pro/ENGINEER tools and techniques preferred, including:
- Template models
- User defined features
- Top down design methodologies
- Simplified representations
- Demonstrated desire to learn, master, and implement advanced Pro/ENGINEER tools and modeling techniques in a production environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work creatively, analytically, and with a global focus.
- Experience with PTC Windchill suite preferred.
- Experience with NC programming preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 25% as required to Asian SRAM locations and internationally.
- Reside in Taichung metro area.
- Fluent in English and Chinese.
