Armstrong Wins and SRAM Sweeps ATOC Women's Time Trial

Today's 18.4 mile Women's TT at the Amgen Tour of California powered by SRAM and Amgen, brought out most of the the best time trialists in the country, and several of the best in the world. Ten riders showed up in Bakersfield, CA, and started precisely at 11:20 in one minute increments. Ultimately it was Kristin Armstrong (Exergy-TWENTY12) riding SRAM RED-2012, Zipp wheels, and the Zipp Vuka aero bar system who set the best time, sprinting in the finish to secure the only sub 40-minute mark of the day. Congrats to Kristin, Alison, and Jade, and all the SRAM sponsored riders for another great ATOC Women's TT.
