SRAM Tour of the Gila starts Wednesday, April 29, and will feature several of SRAM's top teams including Team OUCH, Kelly Benefits, Land Rover, Livestrong U23, Cal Giant, Team Value Act Capital.

Also recently greenlighted to participate is Lance Armstrong and potentially two of his fellow Astana teammates, nothing has been verified yet.

The race is five days, three road stages, one time trial, and one critreium. The final stage features over 6,000 feet of climbing and the race is renowned for its altitude, challenging terrain, and strong fields. This years race is projected to feature the strongest field ever assembled in Silver City.
