Contador takes back lead at Paris Nice

Alberto Contador (Astana - SRAM RED) has won stage six of the 2009 Paris Nice and in doing so has taken back the Yellow Jersey from France’s Sylvain Chavanel (Quick Step).

Contador used his climbing strength to ride away from the opposition 5km before the Mountaintop finish at La Montagne de Lure. Alberto won this race in 2007 and now leads Luis Leon Sanchez (Caisse d'Epargne) by 1:13 and Chavanel by 1:24 with two stages remaining.
