Semenuk Wins JumpShip

Successfully defending his title, Brandon Semenuk (Trek) was crowned JumpShip Champion last weekend by winning the second annual freeride competition, part of the International Cycling Festival in Victoria, BC Canada.

Sat atop a floating barge in Victoria’s Inner Harbour, Semenuk let loose on the docked and buoyant slopestyle course. In a familiar and profound style, Semenuk put together a remarkable 40-second final run that started off with a corked 720 and ended with a 360-tailwhip to solidify the win.

Up-and-coming RockShox athletes Brett Rheeder (Trek) threw down for second place and the young and always-impressive Anthony Messere (Morpheus) placed 3rd in the event, maintaining his recent podium reputation. All three athletes displayed exceptional form and demonstrated their readiness for the major slopestyle events that lie ahead this year.
