How long have you been riding: Probably 30 years, but only 16 years in competition.

Started Cycling? I used to chase my big brothers around from the ripe old age of about 2.
What was your first bike? Some thing that my Dad built for me, he found bits in skips and on trash piles and put me something together.
Favorite Race / Event? There are lots on top of my list, Ft William World cup/ Crankworx at Whistler/ Lisbon Downtown and pretty much all of the World cups.
Favorite Ride / Trail / Line? The rocky trails in Wharncliffe Woods, it's like trials and hard to get right every time.
Most Memorable Event / victory? My first World cup win in 98 was pretty special but I would have to say winning Ft William in 2005 was the pinnacle.
Achievements - Titles? 3X World cup champ, 2X European Champ, 6X Lisbon Downtown Champ, 6X British Champ, 7X British series champ, 15 World cup wins.
Goals? To win more and more stuff.
What motivates you? Winning!!!! Being stood on top of the podium getting plastered with champagne.
Empty your pockets, what do you have on you right now? I am laid on the couch in boxer shorts because I knackered my foot last week, my Calvin Klein's don't have pockets.
Training tips or tricks? Try to keep it all fun and not too tedious do the things you enjoy but do them to the max.
Current Gas Powered Vehicle/s: Sprinter team Truck/ YZ 250/ TTR 125/Yamaha Grizzly 700 Quad/ KLX 110/ Beta 270 Trials bike and a few other minibike varieties to play around on.
Favorite thing to do that doesn't involve a bike or a Stella? I Like to play Golf but don't get much time, riding motorbikes and playing with Jake.
What's on the iPod? A big Varity of all kinds, most favorite is the Stone Roses and other Manchester bands from the 80/90s
When you transitioned into a full-on Pro rider, what rider(s) did you look up to? Jason McRoy, John Tomac, Missy Giove.
Favorite food? Fish and Chips of course.
Pets? I don't have pets but my wife has a dog.
Favorite place to visit? Whistler.
Favorite movies or shows? Happy Gilmour
What single piece of advise would you give to up younger riders that are just coming up? Go out and ride what you have, don't worry about having the latest this or that just go ride, once you do well people will notice you and you might get a sponsor but don't think you need a sponsor before you get any good.
Any regrets? Regrets are for Girls, don't look back.
