How long have you been riding: Started racing BMX in 80 and started racing MTB in 95.

SRAM / RS / Avid / Truvativ Components: (what you ride and any comments) RockShox has always been the best race forks out there. Now with SRAM stepping up their drivetrain, Avid with the Juicy Ultimates and Truvativ with the NOIR cranks, the entire line of products rock. I wouldn't want to ride anything else.

Started Cycling: 1980

Favorite Race / Event: Durango in town World Cup.

Favorite Ride / Trail / Line: Molas to Cascade Colorado trail ride.

Most Memorable Event / victory: Collegiate Mountain Bike Nationals 1996. My first real win and in my adopted home town made it even sweeter.

Achievements – Titles: 96,97 Collegiate National MTB Champion, 2001 Cyclocross National Champion, 2002 Short Track National Champion, 2004 Olympian, 2005 Cyclocross National Champion.

Goals: Top 10 World Cup.

What motivates you: Living the life of a pro athlete. Pushing myself and getting better. Not having to get a "real" job.

Training tips or tricks: If you're on the fence about if you should train more or less, usually less is better. XC riders tend to be obsessive about training and usually tend to do too much rather then too little.
