Cancellara wins Swiss Tour on SRAM RED

Powerhouse Fabian Cancellara from Team Saxo Bank locked up his home Tour (of Switzerland) with a crushing final stage time trial win on Sunday.

Cancellara rode his SRAM RED-equipped Specialized S-Works with SRAM's new R2C (Return to Center) shift levers during Sunday's final stage. Also noteworthy was the fact that he was on the SRAM 54 tooth TT chainring and SRAM all carbon 900 aero brake levers.

He complete the 38.5km course in 45 minutes and 59 seconds, for an average speed of 50.23kph or 31.2mph.

The Swiss time trial champion knew he had taken the win and celebrated as he crossed the line ala road stage style, two hands up. His first stage race win since 2008's Dauphine.

Cancellara will now aim for stage wins and to ride support for his teammates in the upcoming Tour de France.

Congratulations to Fabian and Team Saxo Bank.
