Cyclocross Nationals
|
Cyclocrossworld.com/Cannondale rider Jamey Driscoll raised some eyebrows with his powerful ride at the National Championships today in Kansas City, MO. Driscoll was the closest rider to winner Ryan Trebon (Kona), and one of three in the top five riding SRAM RED. The course was fast and, as one announcer described it, 80% uphill and 80% downhill. Driscoll balanced his speed and climbing skills with some risks in going with Trebon’s early attack and hanging near Jesse Anthony, whose attack split the leaders. After the finish he said his SRAM componentry worked "flawlessly." Be sure to check out the finishing video of the top six riders at the www.roaddiaries.com. U.S. Cyclocross Nationals - Elite Men - top five: Congratulations to all our riders and all the new National Champions, more updates, pics and video to follow on theroaddiaries and here.
