SRAM athletes win Junior DH World Championships; Anneke Berteen conquers second 4X rainbow jersey.

SRAM riders shined at the 2012 World Championships held in Leogang, Austria in both downhill and 4X. On Saturday, September 1st. Anneke Beerten (Milka–Superior) dominated the women’s field to clinch her second consecutive World Championship title in 4X.

In the men’s junior race French wonder boy Loic Bruni (Lapierre International) rode his SRAM X0 DH equipped bike to his first World Champion’s jersey following a stellar season which saw him on the overall podium at the Windham World Cup.

Having never raced a World Cup before coming to Leogang, Canadian Junior Holly Feniak kept her cool on race day and showed the rest of the field what she is capable of with a convincing win on a tough and fast track.

Steve Smith (Devinci Global Racing) enjoyed his second Men’s Elite career World Championship podium with a 3rd place.
