XX full house in Champery!

On sunday, july 25th, at round 4 of the UCI World Cup in Champery, Switzerland, SRAM XX athletes conquered the 4th consecutive victory of the season. This time the top spot of the podium was occupied by Florian Vogel (team Scott - Swisspower - SUI) who rode a textbook race on the course which will host the 2011 World Championships.

Behind Vogel, on an XX-filled podium, Jaroslav Kulhavy (Rubena-Birell Specialized - CZE), World Champion Nino Schurter (Scott Swisspower - SUI) and in fifth place Julien Absalon (Orbea - FRA).

Absalon also maintains his lead in the World Cup overall ranking, where 9 out of the top 10 riders race on XX.

In the women's race Willow Koerber (Subaru - Trek - USA) fought hard to podium in 3rd position, leaping back to 2nd in the overall ranking, only 15 points behind the leader.

On saturday, july 24th, Greg Minnaar (Santa Cruz Syndicate - RSA) got 2nd in the men's downhill race, keeping his lead in the overall ranking, while Brendan Fairclough (Monster Energy - Specialized - GBR) proved what he is capable of with a wild ride to 3rd place.

The World Cup returns on july 31st and august 1st in Val di Sole, Italy, with a triple event (XC, DH and 4X).
