Mikhail Gubin was born in Kharkov, the Soviet Union in 1953. During 1961-1970 he attended art school and took private lessons in drawing, painting, sculpture, and photography. From 1978-1981 he studied at the Art and Technology College in Zagorsk, Moscow region. He came to New York in 1989 and has been actively engaged in artistic creativity his subsequent years in the United States.
He had 31 solo exhibitions and has been involved in more than 200 group shows. Mikhail’s activities include painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, and photography, and he is a member of Audubon Artists, Silvermine Guild of Artists, the National Collage Society, and Sculptors Guild.
