Engineering Project Manager Intern - Colorado Springs, CO

Purpose: To help drive product development projects to target launch and stable production, keep the organization informed about project progress, barriers, successes and improve quality, execution and productivity.

Colorado Springs, CO

  • Assist the Team Lead group in the following:
    • Lead a project to review and improve our product development documentation by:
      • Matching documentation to current practices
      • Reducing redundant documentation
      • Streamlining unclear documentation
      • Making recommendations for improvements
  • Facilitate effective communication and resolution of conflicts involving documentation with team, development centers and across global organization.
  • Promote ongoing and timely communication, including project status and metrics within.
  • Foster a team environment to pursue meaningful product development process.

  • Currently a Junior or Senior working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Project management experience through classwork, personal study, projects, or past internships
  • Familiarity with product development
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in dynamic environment
  • Self-starter who enjoys working in a high energy, rapidly growing environment
