EU Road PR & Content Specialist (w/m) Schweinfurt

To market and promote SRAM road brands, technologies and products to an internal audience, distributors, dealers, media and end-consumers through web and social media with a regional perspective. To work closely with our global branding, product, sponsorship, sales, after market, and management teams to develop focused, accurate, meaningful and consistent PR messaging. In addition, through consistent, effective, well-written and clear communication, the PR and Content Specialist will plan social media activities; develop content, post contents on all our social media outlets.

Responsibilities: 
  • Develop content for our different communication tools: Press releases, websites, e-mail, catalogues/ brochures, sales sheet, presentations… to promote internally and externally our brands, technologies and products in different languages.

  • Plan and manage the content of our media and social media outlets through consistent, effective, well-written and clear communication.

  • Based on the articles we get in magazines and websites, create media reviews to support the Sales team and promote them on our social media outlets. And work with PR team to measure general Media and social media results.

  • Create Social media visibility, on a daily basis, also maintaining an accurate and specific product and company message, yet in a fun and engaging way with the ultimate goal of driving brand education and loyalty.

  • Work closely with industry partners, such as photographers, videographers and companies to maximize understanding and accuracy of our messaging and maintain a close and collaborative relationship.

Qualifications: 
  • Education: Bachelor level in Business, Marketing or Communication

  • 2-3 years of experience in Marketing, Communication, Social Media

  • Social Media savvy and editorial experience ideally in the cycling industry

  • Strong ability to communicate – written and verbal (German and English).

  • Photography, photo and video skills are a plus.
