European Road Technical PR Coordinator (m/f) - Schweinfurt

Responsibilities: 
  • Key contact for European media in all technical questions/issues relating to SRAM, ZIPP and Quarq Road, Cyclocross and Triathlon products.

  • Technical support for media, AM/OE customers, partners and end-consumers at launches and events

  • Handle the Road-bike test fleet and workshop as well as handle the central stock inventory of SRAM, ZIPP and Quarq products with the logistics coordinator.

  • Order new products for events, the bike fleet and media long-term tests.

  • Train the Marcom team on new road products and technologies

  • Inform and contact PMs, engineers and the development team about technical issues, opinions and trends out in the field. And write quality reports as soon as there are technical issues.

  • Visit media and customers on a regular basis (new product presentations, bike setup, relationship)

 

Qualifications: 
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in the bike industry

  • Excellent Mechanical Abilities. Building/tuning bikes, Hydraulic-Brakes, Wheel-Truing etc.

  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

  • Strong communications skills – written, oral

  • Ability to travel internationally regularly and work at weekend

  • Excellent organization and time management skills; able to balance and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

  • Team player – reaches out to peers and cooperates with colleagues and supervisors

  • Road/cyclocross/triathlon racing experience is a plus
