SRAM Product Development is seeking a Field Test Coordinator to act as the liaison between product development teams and field test riders. Field Test team members manage testing in real world riding conditions and gather data to ensure we’re delivering performance and quality to our customers. This position will be focused on e-drive, mtb and e-mtb product development and based in Schweinfurt.


  • Lead Product Development teams to develop field test plans
  • Execute on field test plans independently or in collaboration with a
  • Field Test Technician- identify riders, manage field test sample
  • logistics (ordering, preparing, shipping), communicate expectations
  • to riders, write initial user manuals, develop and run surveys,
  • provide technical support to test riders
  • Collect and report field data
  • Assist engineers in getting to the root cause of field issues
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with riders and
  • cross functionally within SRAM
  • Work with the Global Field Test Team to identify and lead field test
  • continuous improvement efforts globally and within Europe
  • Act as a support resource for European based test riders- assist
  • Field Test Program Manager in identifying potential test riders,
  • recruitment, and onboarding of riders as well as ongoing support
  • Oversee software programming work on the Field Test tracking
  • website. Ensure the software is advancing to be future capable,
  • understand user challenges, envision and communicate solutions


  • Engineering degree or similar
  • Project leadership or project management experience
  • German and English proficiency- written & verbal
  • Strong proactive problem solving and communication skills
  • Highly organized, methodical, detail oriented, and able to multitask
  • Self starter- able to take initiative and make things happen quickly
  • without a clear path
  • Ability to work collaboratively while remote from many riders and
  • team members
  • Ability to work independently- setting and meeting own deadlines
  • Basic computer skills required, proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally- approximately 4
  • trips per year *Post COVID19 restrictions
  • Field Test Rider experience on an electromechanical project
  • (firmware and app skills) and bicycle mechanic skills a strong plus
