For 7 days, 22 hours, and 42 minutes Alvin Escajeda raced through peaks and valleys, both literal and figurative, across one of cycling’s most storied mountain ranges, the Pyrénees.

The Trans Pyrénees Race is a self-supported ultra-distance race that sends riders from the Atlantic Coast to the Mediterranean Sea and back again, accumulating nearly 2000 kilometers of riding with nearly 40k meters of climbing.

Alvin lined up to race aboard his Cervélo Aspero-5 with a custom built set of dynamo equipped Zipp 303 XPLR SW wheels with Goodyear Vector R XPLR 40mm tires, and a RED XPLR AXS & XX SL Eagle Transmission drivetrain.
