Life
Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Lael Wilcox is an ultra-distance bikepacker. She races and rides around the world, notably winning the 2016 Trans Am and hold the women's record for the Tour Divide. She is driven to encourage more women and girls to ride through scholarships, events and Anchorage GRIT, her middle school girls cycling mentorship program.

FUN FACT: Lael has never owned a car. She really doesn't even know how to drive. Commuting by bike is what initially got her into cycling.
