How many pro cyclists have you met who have 2 Paralympic GOLD MEDALS in… Basketball?? This week we’re hanging out with Travis Gaertner, professional Hand Cyclist on Team USA. Travis came up in sport playing wheelchair basketball in Canada, competing in both the 2000 and 2004 Paralympics, before transitioning to hand cycling in 2017 where he now competes for Team USA. While most hand cyclists use 650c wheels, Travis had his bike custom built around 700c so he could run the new Zipp 808 Firecrest specifically for the ability to run wider tires and lower pressures. Can Chas keep up with Travis on the road? Find out now on MAKING YOU FASTER!
