Jonas Vingegaard has added another historic chapter to his career. With his victory at the 2026 Giro d’Italia, the Team Visma | Lease a Bike rider has conquered every Grand Tour, joining one of cycling’s most exclusive clubs. Calm under pressure and relentless in the mountains, Vingegaard claimed five stage victories on his way to the Maglia Rosa, further cementing his place among the sport’s all-time greats.
The Giro also delivered standout performances across the peloton. Felix Gall of DECATHLON CMA CGM TEAM rode consistently securing second in the GC, while Jai Hindley of Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe finished third. Fredrik Dversnes Lavik of Uno-X Mobility earned a breakthrough victory on Stage 15, Michael Valgren Hundahl of EF Education–EasyPost powered to an emotional win on Stage 17 and Team Visma | Lease a Bike’s Sepp Kuss claimed Stage 19, completing his own milestone of winning a stage in all three Grand Tours. Lidl-Trek’s Giulio Ciccone wore the King of the Mountains, Maglia Azzura jersey, and Jonathan Milan took the final Stage 21.
For Vingegaard, his mission continues. After collecting all the Grand Tour trophies, his focus now shifts toward the summer and the Tour de France. New rivals, new challenges and another opportunity to make history await.
