NAHBS '15 - Forged by hand, ridden with SRAM
Creativity and craftsmanship go hand and hand at the North American Handmade Bicycle Show. Here’s a few SRAM-equipped beauties on display last weekend in NAHBS in Louisville, Ky.
This bike from Mosaic Cycles of Boulder, Colo., was built up with SRAM Rival 22 with HydroR hydraulic disc brakes. The bike also included Zipp's newly released 202 Firecrest Carbon Clincher Disc-brake wheels with the lighter and stiffer 77/177D hubset. SRAM's Rival 22 is gaining attention as a do-it-all groupset ready for any road, or beyond. One popular option is going with HyroR hydraulic disc brakes.
Calfee Design is a leader in handmade design for carbon and bamboo. The detail and craftsmanship on this SRAM RED-equipped bike shine through.
The racing creation from Shamrock Cycles of Indianapolis stood out for its paint scheme. Nearly 80 hours were required to paint the frame, fork and seat in the Mondrian paint scheme.
This Shamrock is equipped with the just released Zipp 303 Firecrest Disc-brake wheelset with 77/177D hubset. It also is adorned with newly designed Zipp Service Course SL bars, stems and seatposts and a SRAM Force CX1 1x11 groupset with HydroR hydraulic disc brakes.
This Shamrock is running SRAM 11-32 WiFLi cassette with SRAM Force CX1.
Another nice SRAM Force CX1 build, this steel beauty is from Lundbeck Cycles of Cincinnati. It has nice touches right down to the cork bar plugs.
