No Stopping Nino
Anyone surprised by Nino Schurter’s lesson in how to win a Cross Country World Cup hasn’t been paying attention to the Swiss rider’s last handful of races. Once again, the World Cup and Olympic champion played his Nové Město race day perfectly, and racked up his 21st career World Cup victory.
Following his dominating performance on the day Nino had this to say - “I had a really great start and was in front from the beginning and felt really good. This course really suits me well, it’s my perfect course, it’s one of my favourites, and yeah I’m really happy to win here again.”
Spanish rider David Valero Serrano followed Schurter to the finish in 2nd place. Serrano’s race bike was equipped with SRAM XX1 Eagle™ drivetrain, Level Ultimate brakes, and a RockShox SID World Cup fork with a Deluxe RL Remote rear shock.
