Overview


As part of a diverse global HR team, we are looking for you to design, analyze, and administer compensation, benefits, and wellness programs to meet the organization’s strategy. This role is based in SRAM's global headquarters in Chicago (west loop) and is a hybrid onsite/work from home opportunity.

Responsibilities


  • Assist in annual increase, bonus, and performance processes
  • Administer benefit and wellness programs such as health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, employee assistance, retirement (401K), and other plans
  • Identify, analyze, and recommend enhancements or changes to compensation, benefit, and wellness programs based on market trends, company strategy, or changes in regulations
  • Participate in compensation surveys, conduct job evaluations, partner with functional leaders to maintain and update job descriptions, recommend FLSA classifications
  • Act as liaison between broker and carriers/vendors
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners on communication and education programs to enhance team member knowledge of benefits and compensation programs
  • Participate proactively in annual Open Enrollment process
  • Serve as internal consultant to the HR team and managers, and support employee inquiries
  • Perform compliance activities including annual reporting and filings
  • Review, prepare, and reconcile benefit related invoices
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
  • 3 years of experience in compensation and benefits
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
  • Ability to be a strategic thinker and possess a hands-on implementation/project management approach
  • Strong analytic skills, detail oriented, well organized, and high attention to accuracy
  • Knowledge of HR systems (Success Factors, UKG)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on employee education
  • Knowledge of benefit, compensation and general HR regulations and laws (i.e. FLSA, ERISA)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively cross-functionally
  • Proficient in MS Office
