Overview

Leads global marketing and public relations teams in the execution of the mountain brand promotion strategy. Creatively translates the brand image and messaging into targeted campaigns that lead to increased brand value and revenue generation.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute customer and media events/launches with brand managers and events team
  • Accountable for all print and web media relations, paid content and product seeding
  • Provides promotional and technical support to channel partners
  • Partner with cross functional teams to achieve brand vision
  • Build and manage industry related partnerships and collaborations for marketing promotions
  • Oversee the production and distribution of product information, internally and to media
  • Manage project budgets in coordination with the overall brand budget
  • Manage paid content and local influencers
Qualifications
  • 7 years of experience in public relations, marketing or similar field
  • BS/BA in marketing/business in marketing, communication, public relations or equivalent relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to market and promote brand strategies
  • Proficient communication skills – written, oral and live in front of an audience
  • Knowledge of bicycle mechanics
  • Knowledge of global bike industry
  • Budget analysis and planning
  • Knowledge of promotional items processes and techniques
  • Knowledge of print and digital marketing
  • Proficient with MS Office - Word, Excel, Keynote/PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications
  • Ability to lift up to a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand at events for long periods of time
  • Ability to lead media and customer bike rides to accomplish the brand promotional objectives
  • Travel:
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%, including weekends
