As part of the SRAM Electrical and Software Engineering team, the Senior Embedded Software Engineer will work to deliver leading edge products and technology to athletes and cycling enthusiasts around the world. To learn more about our most recent product to market, SRAM AXS, check it out!


  • Design of embedded systems software architecture to enable new product and platform capabilities
  • Develop reusable, scalable technical solutions for problems spanning multiple domains such as motion control, distributed systems, power management, security, and wireless connectivity
  • Lead decomposition of complex technical problems into actionable tasks utilizing team resources to drive closed form solutions
  • Provide in-depth technical mentorship to peers
  • Execute software quality with participation in collaborative code reviews, test protocol creation and automation with continuous integration systems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of team processes and capabilities


  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience in all product development phases for bringing electromechanical products to production
  • Experience developing and maintaining tools for development, version control, debugging, issue tracking and build management
  • Relevant Experience:
  • Proven ability to design scalable software architectures supporting multiple new and ongoing products
  • Implementation of closed-loop electromechanical control systems
  • Analysis and optimization of power management systems for low power devices
  • Wireless Protocols (802.15.4 / Zigbee / BLE / ANT) interfacing with mobile and other connected devices
  • Ability to diagnose issues that may span hardware, firmware and mobile
  • Implementation of data acquisition and signal processing algorithms to satisfy product requirements
  • Build and deploy systems for manufacturing of embedded systems products
  • Usage of real-time operating systems (RTOS) in product applications
  • Creation of tools, automation and data analysis for support of development, testing and manufacturing
  • Use of electrical test instrumentation (logic analyzer, oscilloscope, debugger) for validation of correctness and performance
  • The benefits for this position include group health insurances including medical, dental, vision, and ancillary plans. As well as 401k match, life insurance, long term disability, and paid time off. Salaries start at $115,000 up to +30% based on skills and experience level. This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based on company and individual performance
