We make the fastest wheels in the world.  “Making You Faster” is not only our marketing tagline for our product, but also the mentality in which we conduct our business.  We are never satisfied with the status quo and always looking at what we can be doing better to make us more efficient (“faster”).  This Supply Chain Manager position is responsible for embodying and supporting that “Making You Faster” mentality in our supply chain processes for manufacturing our world class wheels.


  • Manage/mentor/coach a group of purchasing, planning, and inventory team members to help execute our wheel manufacturing’s supply chain needs
  • Identify, develop, and implement best practices within materials management, purchasing, planning, forecasting, scheduling, material replenishment, and plant cycle time reduction measures
  • Be a leader and example of SRAM’s core values (Integrity, Innovation, Collaboration, Passion, Commitment)
  • Oversee S&OP monthly review, help develop 12 month rolling capacity plans, identify challenges and opportunities, and organizes planning, purchasing, operations, and procurement teams for both input and output to the monthly cycle
  • Work with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure cost reduction and supply continuity is maintained
  • Influence, consult, and lead efforts for sharing and standardizing of best practices and processes
  • Own and drive specific standard work across the supply chain organization (materials management, procurement, logistics, and warehouse management) and work with site leads to perform layered audits in these areas
  • Incorporate the principles of Lean across all processes and integrate the actions and activities of variation reduction
  • Responsible to develop, execute and achieve tactical and strategic initiatives through active leadership that positively impact business plans, operating profits, practices, policies, and procedures
  • Lead and/or support continuous improvement projects; aid in the selection, assist in prework, lead and/or support projects, perform follow up duties as required
  • May perform other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Accounting, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, purchasing, or logistics
  • 3+ years directly managing others
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP, Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt and/or Lean certification preferred
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of MRP, WMS, and their respective report writers; SAP preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Able to provide coaching and performance feedback to direct reports
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to present complex supply chain processes to non-supply chain audiences to gain alignment
  • Most of work will occur in an open-office setting
  • Ability to have stand-up meetings on the production floor for up to 60 minutes
