Overview


Promote SRAM and drive positive sales outcomes through technical and sales education within region. Provide technical sales support to Retailers, Distributors, and Riders covering all SRAM brands and products.

Responsibilities


  • Drive sales growth by using a value selling approach in education to key retailers on SRAM products.
  • Integrate technical sales support and education with regional and corporate priorities in mind; with guidance from Senior Technical Field Guides and Regional Field Guide Manager.
  • Build relationships with retail, DI & OE reps to ensure education is being implemented and executed at retail in a profitable manner to sales staff and technicians.
  • Provide technical support to Retailers, Field Guides and Industry Partners on new and in-line products.
  • Stay on top of sales, market trends and opportunities by evaluating sales dashboards, regional market performance, sales programs, and market intel.
  • Understand SRAM in-market direct sales programs, DI sales programs, and competitor programs to leverage SRAM family of brands with customers.
  • Work within SRAM’s CRM solutions and keep information up to date while communicating metric/KPI reporting monthly to support management sales forecasting and identifying new market opportunities.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


  • 5 years cycling industry experience.
  • 3 years of experience in technical or hands-on role, and/or retail sales.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Must be currently located or willing to relocate to a metro area in Ontario (Greater Toronto Area or Ottawa) or Quebec (Montreal or Quebec City).
  • Must be fluent in English and French (written/verbal).
  • Must have a private and secure workshop space that is a minimum size of 3 meters x 3 meters.
  • Strong customer service skills and professionalism.
  • Strong understanding of technical products and services, with the ability to communicate & present technical concepts and procedures to technical & non-technical recipients via written, oral and live Infront of an audience.
  • Ability to adapt & problem solve quickly to ever-changing market and product demands.
  • Ability to and partner cross-functionally both internally & externally.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to solicit for and deliver feedback to customers and peers.
  • Passion for cycling and knowledge of bike shop operations and products.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • The benefits for this position include group health insurances including medical, dental, vision, and ancillary plans. As well as a retirement plan match, life insurance, long term disability, and paid time off. Salary range for this role ranges between $70,000 - 90,000 CAD annually. This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based on company and individual performance.
