Overview


Velocio, a SRAM brand, has been focused on finding a better way since its inception. The Product Designer role is responsible for the full lifecycle development of new and existing products within the Velocio apparel line. Ideation, iteration, prototypes and working with our manufacturing partners to continually improve product is at the core of this work.

Responsibilities


  • Design, develop and iterate on styles within the Velocio collection
  • Fabric selection, tech pack development and product management within PLM
  • Communication with manufacturing partners to manage timelines for development around intended production launch
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, sales & content teams to align with product go-live planning
  • Respond to event and ambassador needs as they arise, maintain an ability to shift quickly
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in apparel/texitle design or related field
  • 3+ years of apparel design experience, preferrably in performance/activewear
  • Highly creative and iterative approach, willingness to tread into new ideas and push innovation
  • Eye for clean aesthetic and sustainable approach (materials, durability, circularity)
  • Familiarity with computer software programs (Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
  • Highly collaborative team player and able to work independently, as needed
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and design skills
