Our focus is creating technology that combines low latency wireless networks, secure communications, low-power design, and electromechanical systems into an unparalleled rider experience. The candidate will design and build features into firmware that drive the operation of SRAM’s electronic bicycle component ecosystem (AXS). Best practices for embedded systems development including testing, continuous integration, performance, security, and code review will be leveraged to develop high quality, maintainable solutions.

  • Be working towards a Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Computer, Electrical or Software Engineering
  • Have a passion for embedded systems and product development
  • Experience developing on embedded systems either through coursework or other projects (i.e. Arduino), ideally using C or C++
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills as we frequently communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • An interest or curiosity with cycling technology and mechanical engineering is a plus! We encourage cross-functional education
  • Familiarity interfacing microcontrollers with sensors and actuators
  • Familiarity with electronics and test instrumentation (oscilloscopes and logic analyzers) for debugging embedded software
