Eros Poli typifies the passion and emotion of Italian cycling. Perhaps you remember the big Italian in 1994 won the legendary Ventoux Tour de France stage. Eros is 6'4" (that’s 1.94 meters), the biggest man in the Tour that year. He also won a gold medal at the 1984 Olympics for Italy in the team time trial. These days, Eros works for InGamba bicycle tours helping cyclists of all types experience their cycling dreams in Italy and elsewhere. InGamba provides its customers with dream bikes as well—Pinnarelos with Zipp wheels and SRAM components. Eros speaks passionately about modern and classic cycling equipment and Italian food and racing. He’s a fun personality and a great storyteller.
