7:51:13  This is the new course record for the Kona Ironman World Championship. Jan Frodeno set this blisteringly fast time to score his third world title as a SRAM athlete. The win was a clear statement that Frodeno is not just back to form, he’s at his strongest ever after injury cost him the race in 2017 and prevented him from racing at all in 2018.

Joining him on the podium was Tim O’Donnell and Sebastian Kienle in second and third, respectively. All three athletes rode SRAM RED eTap AXS.
