Life

The World Cups are the pinnacle of the cyclocross season, and Lucinda Brand, Clara Honsinger, and Maghalie Rochette are three of the best racers on the circuit. We followed them for the eight-day block of racing in the US as they tackled the heat of Waterloo, the torrential rain in Fayetteville, and the fearsome Mt. Krumpit at Jinglecross, competing with the courses, conditions, and each other. Watch the action unfold and get to know these world-class athletes in Steps to the Top:

After the first three races in the US, Lucinda Brand leads the World Cup standings thanks to her second place Waterloo and first in Fayetteville. She looks to defend the rainbow stripes she earned last season.

Pan American champion Maghalie Rochette thrived in the worst of conditions in Fayetteville, fighting for contention in the lead group all day and finishing 7th. She continues her quest to become the first Canadian to step onto a World Championship podium.

Clara Honsinger closed a huge gap in the latter half of the Fayetteville mudfest to secure the final step on the podium. The American National Champion turned in three strong showings on her home turf.

All three riders choose RED eTap AXS 1x drivetrains for the best shifting and braking experience, whatever the terrain. When the courses get tough, Maghalie, Lucinda, and Clara are tougher.
