Customize your controls.

Force AXS controls are designed to maximize comfort for the widest variety of hand sizes while increasing braking confidence. They allow easier reach, greater finger wrap around the levers, and more room for your fingers when braking.

On most handlebars, the ideal transition from the hoods, that allows for the easiest brake lever reach from the drops, occurs when the bottom of the brake lever is level with the bottom of the handlebar. From this starting position, you can tailor the controller position to your liking.

ADJUST YOUR REACH

With a 2.5mm wrench, you can tailor your brake lever position by turning the reach adjust screw underneath the hood. Turn the hex wrench clockwise to bring the brake lever closer to the drops, or counterclockwise to move it away. The shift paddle will automatically adjust with the brake lever.

As you adjust the lever closer to the handlebar, the point at which the brake pads engage the rotor needs to be adjusted using the pad advancement procedure. This will prevent the brake lever from contacting the handlebar or pinching fingers. Follow the pad advance procedure as described in the service manual.

REMOTE SHIFTING WITH WIRELESS BLIPS

With Wireless Blips you can add shift points wherever you want. Shift from your handlebar tops in a comfortable climbing position or from the drops while charging into a headwind. Use up to three sets per bike (six total). They’re perfect for Force riders who want more shift locations anywhere on their drop bars.

Installing Wireless Blips requires an easy pairing session to ensure your new Blips are computing with the AXS system.

TECH TIP: When wrapping bar tape around the Wireless Blip, cut a notch in a short length of bar tape that is slightly larger than the paddle on the Blip. Then, wrap the notched bar tape around the Blip to secure it to the bar.
