Responsible for developing and executing materials management and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to meet on-time delivery, cycle time and working capital goals for the Indianapolis location. A working manager position that will play an important role in leading the organization with the continued implementation of demand and lean based materials replenishment practices.

Responsabilités


  • Identify, develop, and implement best practices within materials management, planning, forecasting, scheduling, material replenishment, and plant cycle time reduction measures
  • Site lead for S&OP monthly review, develops 12 month rolling capacity plans, identifies challenges and opportunities, and organizes planning, operations, and procurement teams for both input and output to the monthly cycle
  • Develops and maintains material forecasts, planning BOMs, and ensures material continuity with procurement, operations, and logistics to achieve customer on-time delivery
  • Perform root cause investigation and identifies corrective action for material supply interruptions
  • Influence, consult, and lead efforts for sharing and standardizing of best practices and processes
  • Own and drive specific standard work across the supply chain organization (materials management, procurement, logistics, and warehouse management) and work with site leads to perform layered audits in these areas
  • Incorporate the principles of Lean across all processes and integrate the actions and activities of variation reduction
  • Provides materials support for product development teams for new programs during the initial development stages
  • Responsible to develop, execute and achieve tactical and strategic initiatives through active leadership that positively impact business plans, operating profits, practices, policies, and procedures
  • Lead and/or support continuous improvement projects; aid in the selection, assist in prework, lead and/or support projects, perform follow up duties as required
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Accounting, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, purchasing, or logistics
  • 2+ years directly managing others
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP, Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt and/or Lean certification preferred
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of MRP, WMS, and their respective report writers; SAP preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Able to provide coaching and performance feedback to direct reports
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to present complex supply chain processes to non-supply chain audiences to gain alignment
