The SRAM Latin America Aftermarket Territory Manager is responsible for managing and growing our Latin American markets as well as finding new opportunities for the SRAM business. This exciting and challenging role requires a self-driven and entrepreneurial individual, with a keen focus on business development and value selling. The focus will be on implementing strategic initiatives for aftermarket sales while working cross-functionally to identify opportunities in the Latin American region. This role will preferably be based in our Chicago, IL office but we will consider candidates in alternative locations.

Responsabilités


  • Build trustworthy industry relationships both internally and externally, while applying value-selling principles
  • Communicate and partner with customers in growing the local markets and meeting customer needs
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands SRAM’s customer base and market presence
  • Identify emerging markets, market shifts, and risks to the business, while being aware of competitive dynamics
  • Provide market feedback by gathering the voice of the customer
  • Collaborate with go-to-market groups and product & brand managers to amplify new product launch goals
  • Support the execution of training sessions and product knowledge clinics
  • Support expos and customer events and provide trip reports to management

Qualifications


  • Primary fluency / bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of sales experience, including experience developing, managing, and growing high-value customers
  • 3+ years of experience within bicycle and/or outdoor industries, with a focus on retail sales preferred
  • Shows genuine interest in customer needs and thinks creatively about how to solve those issues
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills and passion to work collaboratively, while living SRAM values
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills – written and verbal (English & Spanish required)
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple parallel tasks
  • Ability to in highly cross-functional teams in successfully achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Willingness to travel and shows flexibility to work outside of regular business hours
  • Knowledge of SRAM product lines and the competitive cycling landscape is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with in-depth experience with Excel or other data reporting solutions
  • Strong ability to stay on plan and work within budgets
  • About 40% regional travel
  • Flexible schedule needed, with occasional weekend work for market and customer events
