Kurt Sorge's 2012 Red Bull Rampage victory makes it 3 in a row for SRAM

Just outside the small Utah town of Virgin, is the home of Red Bull Rampage. This year, once again, we witnessed some of the biggest names in the freeride world redefining the limits of what is possible on a mountain bike, on some of the most challenging terrain on earth. Rampage is an awe-inspiring event to the eye and raw on the body of those who participate. While no single athlete can claim two victories, SRAM can proudly celebrate its third in a row. From Brandon Semenuk to Cameron Zink we celebrate this years victor: Kurt Sorge (Giant). We salute the weeks of digging, dry-mouth, sunburns and guts that it took to stomp the winning line. Congratulations also to first-timer Antoine Bizet (Kona), who took a deserved second place.
To our digging crews and SRAM roster of Kurt Sorge (Giant), Antoine Bizet (Kona), Kyle Strait (GT), Kyle Norbraten (Specialized), Brandon Semenuk (Trek), Martin Söderström (Specialized), Pierre Edouard Ferry (Commencal), Cam Zink (Hyper) and the Ken (Kenny Smith - Specialized), we’re glad you all survived the heaviest week of the year!
