SRAM Releases 2012 Global Mountain Bike Roster
Our product is rooted deep in the very soil of the courses that breed champions. The untouchable XX groupset set the bar for mountain bike gruppos and has been unrivaled ever since its release in 2009 winning every men’s XC world championship since. Proven once again when it propelled Jaroslav Kulhavy across the line making him the 2011 XC World Champion.
The win-win relationship between SRAM and our athletes strengthens year after year as we help each other reach our goals. The young, then 19, Danny Hart demonstrated an explosive style during the 2011 DH world championships aboard SRAM, RockShox, Avid, and TRUVATIV underlining the fact that RockShox has won more than 66 elite downhill world cups and 11 world championships. That’s more than any other fork made, period.
It’s no surprise that our athletes are as passionate and enthused about riding as we are. They take our product to the levels that it was designed for. Brandon Semenuk pushed the slopestyle envelope at the 2011 Crankworx Whistler with his podium boosting flip whip proving that his brute strength, style, and diverse skill match seamlessly with this SRAM, RockShox, Avid and TRUVATIV components.
As mountain biking continues to evolve it is important to address product demand allowing riders to go bigger, faster, and longer. The fact that Jérôme Clementz won both the multi-day Trans-Provence and Italian Superenduro aboard SRAM, RockShox, Avid, and TRUVATIV proves that we’re on point.
