SUPER PRESTIGE TOM & ELI
Tom Meeusen (Elite Men) and Eli Iserbyt (Junior Men) win on CX1!
Attacks, crashes, strong pace, tactics, cobbled roads… Superprestige Ruddervoorde was a very intense and exciting race. On his SRAM Force CX1 equipped bike, Tom Meeusen (Telenet-Fidea Cycling team) outsprinted his breakaway companions to take his first victory of the season.
The Belgian rider hit the last section of the final lap with a four-man lead group. He rode away in the final meters to claim Superprestige Ruddervoorde, the third round of the series.
A few hours before, Eli Iserbyt (Young Telenet-Fidea Cycling team) also took the victory in Ruddervoorde in the Junior category on his SRAM Force CX1 groupset. He confirmed his great results and his new Cyclocross European Junior Championship title, won the day before.
CX1 is the only true 1x (say “one by”) cyclocross system. It is lighter, simpler, tougher, and cleaner no matter the conditions or terrain, while offering optimal gear selection for cyclocross. Superior chain management and no more chain slap!
Congratulations Tom and Eli!
