Lyrik RCT3 15x100

With a completely new chassis, featuring tapered legs and a taller brace for stiffness and light weight, and a collection of new technologies such as a retuned Solo Air spring with additional negative volume for a plusher initial stroke, Bottomless Token tunability in both Solo Air and Dual Position Air configurations, SKF wiper seals for lower friction and better sealing, and user tunable rebound damping via internal shims (same as BoXXer), Lyrik is built to inspire confidence and blur the lines of capability that limit all other forks in its class. Proven features include 35mm Fast Black upper tubes and an RCT3 Charger Damper with a new SKF cartridge seal to reduce friction and extended service intervals.

With revolutionary advancements in bicycle componentry, like SRAM’s XX1, X01 and X1 drivetrains, mountain bike designers have been given almost limitless freedom to focus solely on the performance of the bike. Each advancement demands that the entire package works flawlessly. Aggressive trail and enduro riders have been increasingly enjoying the benefits of larger wheels, but many still view 27.5" and 29" wheels as a possible weak link. Which is why SRAM has developed an open standard with Boost compatible components for SRAM drivetrain, hubs and RockShox forks.

Bottomless Tokens

Bottomless Tokens allow riders to easily custom tune their RockShox fork’s air-spring performance to best match their own riding style and suspension preference. Adding the easy-to-install Bottomless Tokens changes the air-spring curve to resist bottom-out after a big hit, giving aggressive riders the power to attack the trail harder. Removing Bottomless Tokens makes the air-spring curve more linear, enhancing suspension feel for certain types of terrain or trail condition and ensuring riders who are less front-end aggressive benefit from 100 percent of their fork’s travel.

  • Black bottomless tokens are compatible with the following Solo Air forks: RS-1 SID, Reba, Bluto, Revelation.
  • Grey bottomless tokens are compatible with the following Solo Air forks: Pike, Lyrik, Yari, Pike DJ, BoXXer.
  • Dark red bottomless tokens are compatible with the following Dual Position Air forks: Pike, Lyrik, Yari.

Charger Damper™

Performance focused

  • No compromise for lockout: The efficiency circuits (Pedal and Lock) sit behind the performance damping, meaning no sacrifice in bump performance for shredding downhill while keeping the ability to maintain pedaling stability for those leg burning climbs.
  • Rapid Recovery: More control with less energy.

Bladder Charged

  • Extruded bladder design is insanely durable, resists damping change during extended downhills and has virtually zero pressure offset for small bump sensitivity.

Trail Tuned

  • RCT3 features Open with an adjustable low speed compression, Pedal and Lock.

Dual Position Air™

If you want to ride up and walk down, a fork that only does one thing well is great. But you love epic ascents, technical descents, winding single track and everything in between. So you need a fork that tackles it all. Like our Dual Position Air. It changes your fork’s travel up to 30mm without changing its small bump performance. So, with a simple onboard turn and a click you can switch from climbing like a demon to bombing downhill with confidence.

Rapid Recovery™

Who doesn't want more available wheel travel for successive hits? The Rapid Recovery System allows the shock to recovery faster between consecutive bumps, letting the wheel track the ground with greater precision. This more active suspension system, doesn’t pack up and enables the bike to ride in a higher and softer part of the spring rate.  Rapid Recovery gives the rider access to more available wheel travel, bump after bump, to achieve a smoother and more controlled ride.

Sag Gradients™

Don’t set your sag correctly, and you might as well be hopping onto someone else’s bike. But why bust out plastic clips or rulers to keep your suspension fine-tuned? Our sag gradients are printed right on our fork’s upper tubes and shock damper bodies making perfect suspension setup easy and accurate. So give mom back her plastic clip and ruler.

Solo Air™

Solo Air is like a Buddhist monk. Its enlightened design lets you add air to your forks through a single Schrader valve, filling both the positive and negative air spring chambers simultaneously. So they’re always in perfect equilibrium, like Yin and Yang. Giving you a plush, predictable ride you can set up in seconds, with the lightest weight air spring on the market.

Torque Caps

Torque Caps make the bond between hub and fork dropout stronger, with an increased surface area connecting the two. This creates a stronger, stiffer interface, giving you a more responsive front wheel and more control. So you concentrate on the most important connection, the one between your bike and the trail.

RockShox LYRIK - First Impressions | Pinkbike

Mike Kazimer of Pinkbike recently attended the product launch of the 2016 RockShox LYRIK in Retallack, B.C. with highly positive initial first impressions on the new front suspension offering from RockShox.

by Mike Kazimer ,, July 27, 2015
First Ride: RockShox Lyrik RCT3 | Vital MTB

"Beyond the Lyrik's well performing damping, the added chassis stiffness over our 160mm Pike was vast and a very apparent improvement. The Lyrik resisted twisting on off-camber sections and in rough, rocky bits of trail allowing the bike to follow the intended line as opposed to deflecting and forcing unwanted directional changes."

RockShox LYRIK - First Impressions | BIKE Mag

"Like the Pike, the Lyrik rides nice and high in its travel while remaining buttery smooth and responsive to low-velocity small bumps. The rebound stroke does a good job of recovering quickly from large hits without an uncontrolled pogo-stick feel."

by Ryan Palmer ,, July 29, 2015
"The LYRIK might be the best fork RockShox has ever made" - Bicycling Magazine | Product Review

"The Lyrik really impressed me....So think of his updated model as a fork that has everything we loved about the Pike, but in a stiffer, more capable package, with some longer-travel options."

by Ron Koch,, August 5, 2015
RockShox Lyrik | First Ride | MBR

"The new Lyrik from RockShox has been likened to the Pike, but here we find out that it's a far greater catch..."

by Alan Muldoon,, October 9, 2015
RockShox Lyrik | Five Star Review | Mountain Bike Action

"RockShox has taken everything into account while developing the stiffest single-crown fork it has ever produced."

by Mountain Bike Action,, November 6, 2015
RockShox LYRIK receives Design & Innovation Award | ENDURO Mag

The new RockShox LYRIK RCT3 receives a coveted Design and Innovation award from ENDURO Mag

"Offering a burly chassis and more travel options, this will become a firm favorite of those who ride or race hard in big terrain. The Lyrik features the world-famous Charger damper, offering easy control over compression adjustment, and brings new innovation in the form of RockShox’s Torque Caps, which enhance hub contact to increase torsional stiffness. Fully Boost-compatible the Lyrik can also be tuned with RockShox’s class-leading Bottomless Tokens.

For those of you that ride so hard that the amazing Pike is not tough enough, here are two pieces of advice: the first is that you are crazy, and the second is that you need a Lyrik."

by Design & Innovation Award,, January 1, 2016
RockShox Lyrik | User Award | 2015 has published the results of their yearly Readers’ Awards. Readers voted for their favorite bikes, brands, innovation, products and components from beginning of December until mid January. SRAM took the second place in the forks category.

The direct competitor of Pike also comes from the RockShox: The new Lyrik is an excellent fork that many enduro riders swear by. The Black beauty made it to the second rank in the Readers Awards.

RockShox LYRIK RCT3 long term review -

"I've never had any complaints about the stiffness of the Pike (and I still don't), but the extra solidity of the Lyrik is noticeable out on the trail, especially on rougher sections where the terrain is constantly pushing and pulling on the fork, trying to knock it off line."

"The extra suppleness helps filter out the high-speed chatter and creates a fork that has very, very good small bump sensitivity."

"The rest of the fork's travel is well managed, with the excellent mid-stroke support that put the Charger damper on the map in the first place, and the easily-tuned ramp-up before bottom out."
