Bike Check | Sam Hill's World Champs Choice
Five-time World Champion and current Enduro World Series points leader, Sam Hill, is choosing to race his Enduro bike in Cairns. His prototype Nukeproof Mega is similar to what he raced to second place at EWS Whistler, but with a few small changes to make it more downhill orientated. The biggest change is in the drivetrain, where his SRAM X01 Eagle™ drivetrain has been replaced with the downhill specific SRAM X01 DH. Slowing Sam down are the all-new SRAM Code brakes which have already been raced to both EWS and UCI World Cup Downhill victories in 2017. Up front he is running a 170mm RockShox Lyrik RCT3 with the new Charger 2 damper. Handling the bumps out the back is a RockShox Super Deluxe RCT. Last but not least is a RockShox Reverb Stealth with 1x Remote making sure his seat is always at the correct height.
