Two SRAM road groupsets, SRAM’s RED eTap® and SRAM Force 1, took top honors at last week’s Interbike show in Las Vegas.

Outside Magazine named the newly introduced SRAM RED eTap among its 2015 Gear of the Show.

Outside's Aaron Gulley wrote: "Given that SRAM is bringing an electronic drivetrain to market six full years after Shimano released its first road Di2 group, the company had to deliver something truly groundbreaking if it hoped to be relevant. Impressively, eTap Red takes SRAM from playing catch-up to leading the field."

At the 2015 Interbike Awards banquet Thursday, SRAM received three awards in the Road Cycling Category:

Road Product Innovation of the Year – SRAM Force 1 (formerly named Force CX1 before expanded SRAM 1x™ road options)

People’s Upgrade Choice Award – SRAM Force 1

Best in Show Road – SRAM RED eTap.

Two SRAM-supported professional athletes also were honored. American Megan Guarnier of Boels Dolmans was named North American Road Cyclist of the Year and German Jan Frodeno International Male Triathlete of the Year. The evening was a celebration of cycling highlighted by an appearance by three cast members from the 1979 coming-of-age cycling film “Breaking Away,” (Dennis Christopher (Dave Stoller), Jackie Earle Haley (Moocher) and Dennis Quaid (Mike).

Congrats to all the honorees (See full list).
