- You'll partner closely with the Finance Manager and European Financial Controller, playing an active role in the day-to-day running of the finance function — not just observing it.

- What You'll Do:
- Financial Reporting & Close
- Own Month End, Quarter End, and Year End close processes across multiple European legal entities
- Prepare and post general ledger entries on a monthly and period-end basis
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheets, P&L statements, and other financial reports, ensuring accuracy at every level
- Manage accruals and prepayments
- Compliance & Statutory Reporting
- Prepare and submit government returns as required
- Lead the preparation of year-end statutory reports
- Audit Support
- Prepare the year-end audit file and act as a key point of contact for the audit team
- Support both interim and year-end audit processes from start to finish
- Day-to-Day Finance Operations
- Oversee employee expenses, cash management, and monthly payroll
- Ensure the smooth running of core finance operations across the business
- Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to finance processes and controls
- Provide advice, support, and training to team members as needed
- Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and project work as the business requires

Qualifikationen
- Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting
- Proven computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail; “audit ready” mindset at all times
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- SAP experience
- Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to interpret and explain financial performance
