Overview


As an Innovation Engineer, you will work in a small team that highly depends on your contribution. Your hands on skills and ability to drive fast paced iterations are essential to build “proof of concept” prototypes. Finally, you will transfer the new technology to our product development team and support the industrialization process.

Responsibilities


  • Invent technologies within the context of SRAMs innovation strategy
  • Acquire expertise on products and technologies within SRAMs current portfolio and beyond
  • Build rideable prototypes
  • Collaborate with our legal department to secure intellectual property
  • Transfer new technologies to engineering teams
  • Support engineering teams throughout the product industrialization process

Qualifications


  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent (BSEE will be considered if there is a strong track record)
  • 2+ years of experience in product design or equivalent
  • Hands on / makers abilities
  • Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB design and layout
  • Microcontroller-based firmware development
  • Complementary hardware and software skills are a plus
  • Hardware debugging expertise using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
  • Familiarity with a variety of sensors and actuators
  • Track record of innovation activities within professional or outside-work environment. Any record or documentation of your innovation portfolio added to the resume is highly appreciated
  • Experience with patent research and applications is a plus. If you are a named inventor, please include the application to the resume
