Established in 2018, the women's Movistar Team reaches its fourth season of existence and its second as a UCI Women's WorldTour-licensed outfit. Its 14-woman roster for 2021, the longest in its history, brings in a new influx of world-class talents such as multiple World Champion Annemiek van Vleuten, Danish champion Emma Norsgaard and American allrounder Leah Thomas, while also keeping a strong core of Spanish athletes, such as Sheyla Gutiérrez and Lourdes Oyarbide alongside team stalwarts Paula Patiño, Aude Biannic or Katrine Aalerud.
