SPIRIT OF RAMPAGE. PROVEN BY HANNAH BERGEMANN.

Hannah Bergemann returned to the Utah desert with purpose and unfinished business. After an injury kept her sidelined during the inaugural women’s Rampage, she arrived this year with quiet confidence and a clear plan. Her line was deliberate from top to bottom: big, technical, and unmistakably hers. Every move showed the blend of calculation and composure that defines the spirit of Rampage—controlled aggression, delivered with precision.

A cornerstone of modern freeride, Bergemann’s story is one of constant evolution. From digging and shaping in the woods of Bellingham to leading at Formation, her influence now extends through Hangtime, the women’s freeride jam she founded to give riders space to progress together. That spirit—mentorship, collaboration, and creative freedom—carried through every part of her Rampage run. Bergemann has become both a competitor and a catalyst, building community as she builds her career. At Rampage 2025, that presence was felt in every takeoff and landing she touched.

“Competing for my first time at Red Bull Rampage was an unforgettable experience! It was an intense week, mentally and physically, with lots of ups and downs, but it was a dream come true to be a part of the event. Getting second place was really just the cherry on top of an already amazing experience. I’m also honored to have received the Kelly McGarry Spirit Award—Kelly has always been a big inspiration to me, so this is incredibly special. It’s surreal to see how far the women’s field has come since the first year of Formation at this venue just six years ago, and I’m excited to see how we’ll continue to push the sport in the coming years,” Bergemann reflected.

Every detail of Hannah's bike was chosen for Rampage. She rode a Transition TR11 hand-painted by her sister Abby, a tattoo artist who brought her signature style to the frame. BoXXer Ultimate up front and Vivid Ultimate air shock gave Hannah the control and confidence to ride her line exactly how she envisioned it.

Bergemann and the women’s field continue to raise the bar, but the men’s competition brought its own mix of creativity and consequence to the cliffs of Virgin. Tomas Lemoine, no stranger to slopestyle, came to Virgin as a rookie by Rampage standards. His first run earned a jaw-dropping 93.66, a score that held him in fourth without taking a second run.

At 18 years old, Finley Kirschmann was pure Rampage energy—jeans, slip-on Vans, and AirPods included. After crashing on his first attempt, he returned for a second run with one goal: have fun. His fearless, playful approach was a reminder that the heart of freeride is often in the joy of riding, even amid competition and consequence.

Veterans Szymon Godziek and Emil Johansson pushed the limits and reminded everyone of the stakes Rampage demands. Both went massive and had hugeys, with Godziek walking away without a second run and Johansson taking a heli ride out. By anyone’s standards, this year was a tough one. Rampage is an incredibly unique space built by and for riders, where shared features, careful planning, and mutual support drive progression. It’s a place where rookies can make their mark, and where the effort behind the scenes is just as essential as the lines on the cliffs. For more than two decades, the spirit of Rampage has persisted here—tested by risk, refined by experience, and carried forward by every rider who drops in.

Beyond the broadcast, the Rampage community lasts far longer than the two weeks of competition. Riders like Adolf Silva are part of the freeride family, and the community has already stepped up to support him through Road 2 Recovery. To learn more, click here.
