Since its founding, racing has always been a part of SRAM, supporting some of the best cycling teams and athletes in the world throughout the years, with constant innovation and the same goals: to help every rider perform at their best with componentry designed around their needs.
SRAM’s 2022 race season was marked by historic victories and record settings, starting with the phenomenal year of Annemiek van Vleuten. The Dutch rider etched her name into history as the first-ever Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift winner, achieving an unprecedented Giro d’Italia Donne-Tour de France Femmes-Ceratizit Challenge by La Vuelta hat-trick; before she capped her season with a second World title on the road race. Compatriot Ellen van Dijk broke the women’s hour record, setting a new distance of 49,254km, and claimed the time trial rainbow jersey for the third time. Crowned best young rider of the Giro d’Italia, Spaniard Juan Pedro López literally dreamed in pink with the Maglia Rosa on his shoulders for ten days.
SRAM continues its deep commitment to racing in 2023 with SRAM, Zipp, TIME, Quarq power technology and Hammerhead cycling computers. Athletes will compete on RED and Force AXS, with many riding 1x on specific races such as Paris-Roubaix and adding Wireless Blips for more shift options.
This year marks a turning point as Team Jumbo-Visma joins the SRAM family. With world-class riders including Belgian star Wout van Aert, 2022 Maillot Jaune Jonas Vingegaard, three-time Vuelta winner and Olympic time trial Champion Primož Roglič, as well as women’s pioneer Marianne Vos, the most successful team in the world has chosen SRAM to perform at the highest level. “We are always seeking ways to develop, and we firmly feel this move will advance us,” says Team Jumbo-Visma’s performance manager Mathieu Heijboer.
Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team and Fabian Cancellara’s Tudor Pro Cycling Team are also joining SRAM’s powerhouse, featuring respectively Giamluca Brambilla and Jack Bauer, and Alexander Kamp and Sebastien Reichenbach.
SRAM continues long-term partnerships with WorldTour teams Movistar Team, Trek-Segafredo, Team SD Worx, Canyon//SRAM Racing and Liv Racing TeqFind, as well as development teams Trinity Racing and Hagens Berman Axeon.

It is to mention some thrilling signings including Fernando Gaviria and promising youngster Iván Romeo at Movistar Team, while Team SD Worx has signed European Champion and number one sprinter Lorena Wiebes for what is arguably one of the most anticipated moves in the women’s peloton.
In triathlon, SRAM’s incredibly deep roster of champions remains unchanged, including Olympic Champions Kristian Blummenfelt and Flora Duffy, as well as the number one athlete in the PTO rankings Ashleigh Gentle, along with the Specialized and Trek Tri Teams.
On the gravel side, SRAM is also excited to partner with Trek Driftless Gravel as well as former WorldTour rider and Paris-Roubaix winner Niki Terpstra.
While supporting top teams like Movistar Team, Canyon//SRAM Racing or L39ion of Los Angeles, Zipp sees some fantastic additions with Team SD Worx, Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team and Austin Aviators, increasing the establishment of Total System Efficiency and tubeless technology to the top level.
TIME expands its presence at the pinnacle of professional cycling with Trek-Segafredo, marking the return of a legendary winner to the men’s WorldTour and the expansion of its pedals to now three women’s WorldTour teams. Trek-Segafredo joins Canyon//SRAM Racing and Team SD Worx in riding TIME, as well as American squads Miami Blazers and Austin Aviators.
