SRAM Force maintains its carbon looks, super light weight, and WorldTour proven durability. Zero Loss shifting engages front shifts immediately. And, like SRAM RED, SRAM Force has the front trim position on the big ring. SRAM Force also incorporates the popular Reach Adjust feature, which SRAM invented, and allows riders to customize their brake and shift levers.
- Zero Loss™ engages front shifts immediately.
- Front trim position on the the big ring
- Customizable Reach Adjust on shift and brake levers
DoubleTap makes changing gears easier and faster, eliminating the cumbersome and awkward engagement associated with two-lever systems. DoubleTap handles up- and downshifts in one short, sweeping motion, with minimal effort and maximum comfort no matter where you are on the bars.
When we launched our road technology from scratch we reapplied our MTB proven SRAM 1:1 actuation ratio (shifter cable travel : derailleur movement). EA helps to simplify and stabilize the uneasy act of balancing rear derailleur hanger design, tight cog spacing, and exact cable tension. The result: the easiest index shifting system to set up—and it stays that way.
Brake lever fit and feel is a personal thing. Riders have individual positioning preferences, as well as unique hand sizes and finger lengths. Reach Adjust makes it easy to adjust your lever for maximum one-finger control for everyone.
ZERO LOSS simply means, well, zero loss—when you push on the lever, for an upshift or down shift, the cable is engaged instantly—zero loss of movement. There is no middle-ground where you're waiting for the shift to come. Gear changes are instant and precise.
