Lotte Kopecky wins back-to-back Tour of Flanders
For the second straight year, Lotte Kopecky reigned supreme on home soil at the Tour of Flanders. She defended her 2022 crown to become one of just two women to win consecutive titles at the Monument. The dominant solo victory continued a strong spring Classics campaign for Kopecky and Team SD Worx.
The Winning Setup
A bike that can climb as well as it can quickly crush cobbles, Lotte Kopecky's S-Works Tarmac SL7 crossed the line first by a big margin donning a RED eTap AXS drivetrain. X-Range gearing proved victorious with her 50/37 chainrings and a 10-33T cassette.
Team SD Worx Dominance
After attacking on the Oude Kwaremont, Kopecky cruised by herself to the line. With Kopecky previously winning Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Danilith Nokere Koerse, Team SD Worx has now earned the top step at seven spring Classics so far in 2023. The team also snagged second in Flanders with Demi Vollering, who took the bunch sprint in the chase group.
SRAM Podium Sweep
Rounding out the podium was Elisa Longo Borghini of Trek-Segafredo. She will now look toward defending her Paris-Roubaix title as the cobbled classics continue.
