Boels-Dolmans Ready with RED
Boels-Dolmans Pro Cycling looked impressive this month at the Ladies Tour of Qatar. Lizzie Armitstead took two stage victories and won the overall classification. Teammate Ellen Van Dijk won a stage and finished second overall. The team, based in the Netherlands, races next at the Omloop het Nieuwsblad on Feb. 28 in Belgium. Boels-Dolmans rides SRAM RED 22 componentry, Zipp wheels, bars, stems and seatposts, and Quarq power meters. Here’s a closer look at the team’s road and time trial bikes for the coming season:
We increased our investment in Boels-Dolmans this season to include SRAM RED 22 groupsets but also Zipp wheels. Dutch team of internationals stars is a contender in any race with key riders including Lizzie Armitstead, Ellen Van Dijk and Evelyn Stevens. The team ended 2014 ranked third among UCI Women’s Teams.
