Let’s just say the Amgen Tour of California is a big deal for us. We’re involved with America’s greatest bike race – and the cycling festivities around it – in just about every way. For starters, SRAM is proud to equip four pro men’s and five pro women’s teams in California. The men will race roughly 800 miles from May 15-22. The four-day women’s race Empowered with SRAM will run in tandem with the men’s from May 19-22.

All in for ATOC

This year SRAM is the presenting sponsor of Monday’s Stage 2 in the men’s race from South Pasadena to Santa Clarita and Friday’s Stage 6 time trial in Folsom for the men and women. For the second year, we also are a proud supporter of the Amgen Breakaway from Heart Disease Women’s Race Empowered With SRAM.

In our tradition of supporting rider development, the best young rider in the men’s and women’s races will wear the SRAM Best Young Rider’s Jersey.

For the seventh consecutive year, SRAM’s Neutral Race Support Team is ready to help a rider suffering a mechanical or mishap, regardless of team affiliation. This outstanding team’s easy-to-spot red cars and cycles are loaded with SRAM, Zipp, and Quarq-equipped bikes as well as Zipp spare wheels.
